Our adventure began only a few hours ago with a Facebook event. Now we're so many!

Let's explain what's this and where we are until now.

The idea is to propose to the organizers of the various Italian exhibitions, starting with the Lucca Comics & Games, to create a space in one of the halls to be used as an American Artist Alley. To be clear: a row of tables placed side by side, leased directly to the authors without dividers side.

This desire is born from the excessive and senseless rent situation of stands at the comics fairs. Costs are becoming increasingly prohibitive for spaces that are tight to us or authors, or are wasted (why 3 meters of depth?). So we were thinking of proposing this solution to reduce costs and to finally bring this method of approach with people, spread to every other fairs abroad.

We are contacting authors for this kind of "petition", in order to show how much we want to this space, but the collection of consents may also extend beyond, so spread the word!
We are collecting "signatures" to show to the organizers the number of professional artists who are interested in first-person staging the Artist Alley. So if you fall into this category please send me an email at larawest [at] alice.it and let me know:

   name and surname;
   your email reference;
   credential works (publisher/s).

Are also welcome all kind of supporters or newcomers who may in the future use the Artist Alley or fan who would like to see that space at the fair. They will be included on the list of supporters.
