"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Elena, born in 1983, started her career defeating demons with Angel; then, after a short visit to Avalonia and another one to the witch Jakara, she traveled on the Enterprise, rediscovered the Klingon pride, admired the Orion girls and played with the fickle Q; she helped Melinda return some restless spirit to peace and then she was back to Angel, when he got in trouble as a puppet and fought against Ancient Illyria.
